Mastering Knighthood

​

Mastering Knighthood clubs are designed for boys to form bonds of friendship and develop strong moral character as they study great heroes.  The club curriculum is designed around a central theme for the year (for 2016 - 2017 the theme is allegiance).  The knights then learn how the Seven Standards of Terra Libre relate to the year’s theme through the study of great heroes, past and present.  

 

The club is run by mentors who lead the knights in the following endeavors: reading and discussing books about great heroes, learning public speaking though presentation to the clubs, activities and service projects, and being inspired by hero visits.

Students are responsible for purchasing or finding their own books.  One to three will be required per semester.

Crowned with Virtue

​

Crowned With Virtue clubs are designed for girls ages 8-12 to form bonds of friendship as they study great heroes. Each club is run by mentors who lead the maidens in the following endeavors:

• Reading and discussing books about great heroes

• Learning public speaking through presentations to the clubs

• Planning and leading activities

• Learning the basics of commonplace books

• Being inspired by hero visits and field trips

 

Martial Arts

We have a wonderful Tai Kwan Do instructor that we worked with last year.  His class was so loved that we asked him back again for this year.  He teaches discipline and hard work while having fun.- With interest we will consider extending this class

 

Dance and Movement

Bethanie Coffin will also be teaching a class for the younger students.  She will encourage the girls to have fun through dance and movement.
